Michael writes, performs, and directs for theaters all over Chicago including The Second City Training Center, iO Chicago, MCL Chicago, and Stage 773. Since graduating from Duke in 2009 he makes his paychecks as an engineer but spends most of his free time focusing on musicals and music comedy. He recently originated the role of Jamie in “The Thanksgiving Circumcision” and is thrilled to be in development of a musical of his own. He is a founding member of The Comedy Dance Collective and Anarchy: an improvised rock opera which has performed at festivals across the nation. With a history of helping organize and manage events Michael is excited to get back into that scene with the 2016 Chicago Music Improv Festival!
